Shipping 

All purchases with Mr. Bow Tie are hand made after they are ordered. This is done to ensure all specifications are met with each individuals order. Orders purchased with Mr. Bow Tie will typically be shipped within 3-5 business days, while large orders can take 1-2 weeks before being shipped. A confirmation e-mail will follow once your purchase has been shipped. Upgrades in shipping are available upon checkout for an additional charge beyond the regular shipping charge. Once a product has been shipped, Mr. Bow Tie cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged items, or delay that may have occurred during shipment. If your package has not been received within the timeframe outlined by Post, please visit your local Post Office in regards to the delivery and whereabouts of your parcel.

Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser in their country.

Regular shipping rates allow at least 10-14 business days to reach you if you are within the United States or out of the Province of BC, Canada, (not including weekends and holidays) and not including time through Customs. If you require your order sooner, please use an upgrade for a more suitable delivery time upon checkout.

Delivery service times are as posted by each carrier and are not a guarantee of Mr. Bow Tie.

Shipping times are approximate as stated in checkout with additional upgrades available.  If you are in a further and more remote location of a province or state, please allow for more additional business days for your parcel to arrive than the current days listed or message us and we can check the approximate shipping days for you.

If you wish to add insurance for your parcel while being shipped, please message us and we would be happy to provide you with a quote.

Delays in parcel arrivals due to customs, extreme weather conditions, etc can happen and are beyond the control of Mr. Bow Tie. Shipping addresses that have not been updated prior to ordering will either be returned or abandoned by postal.

Refunds & Exchanges

Mr. Bow Tie products will only be returned or exchanged if there is a defect in the manufacturing of the product within 7 days.  

Product Hardware: While Mr. Bow Tie cannot guarantee your suspender hardware will never fail or malfunction, we do our utmost best to provide hardware that is durable and quality tested before it is shipped out to you. It is highly recommended to try on suspenders and test all functions of hardware as soon as you receive and days prior to your event. Special events are of utmost importance and we would hope that none of our hardware fails or breaks before or during the event or thereafter. But, things can happen that are beyond anyones control. Please message us if you have any concerns and we will be happy to assist you as best as we can. We depend on you to fit and trial each one well before your special occasion to avoid any possible malfunctions.

All items are custom made specifically for each customer upon receiving the requested order and are not returnable nor refundable. Mr. Bow Tie is unable to return or refund any orders that are purchase due to the wrong colour/shade purchased or cancellation of events.  Mr. Bowtie strongly recommends for all customers to purchase colour swatches prior to purchasing a product if a close or exact match is required and to ensure the colour matches what they are looking for as all computer monitors vary in brightness and may alter the true colour of the product. 

 

Sizes are based on an average size for that suggested age group. Please measure and pick length required accordingly. If you have any questions about sizing or require a different length please contact Mr. Bow Tie and would gladly assist you to ensure your measuring is accurate. You can also view the Measurements page for assistance on how to properly measure individuals for suspenders.

Please be advised we do not accept notes on orders to extend lengths beyond 56" on mens sizes unless you have arranged with us before hand. 

Customers can contact Mr. Bow Tie if there are any concerns with the products they have purchased.

Additional Policies

All photos are a production of Mr. Bow Tie and may not be altered, photo-shopped, cropped or used in any way without the consent of Mr. Bow Tie. 

Please note: Colour may vary slightly from monitor to monitor and may not be exact in photos. Patterns may vary slightly from one to another and may not be exactly as what is shown on photos. Additionally, if you are purchasing more than one patterned product, no two may be exactly alike with the pattern.

Colour swatches are available that will be mailed to you to ensure you are purchasing the colour you are looking for. If you require a swatch for accuracy in colour, please see the colour swatch listed under the desired product for purchase. There is a charge of $1.00 each for the colour swatch plus mailing.

Disclaimer: Mr. Bow Tie encourage to monitor their young children while wearing our products, as some items have small parts or bands that could present a choking hazard. We advise you to adjust items loosely and to remove while sleeping. After a purchase has been made, Mr. Bow Tie cannot be held responsible for any possible injuries that may occur.

Once a product has been purchased, Mr. Bow Tie cannot be held responsible for the following: 

- Any injury that may occur while wearing our products, any age;

- Purchasing multiple orders separately and/or at different dates resulting in a different hue in the shade/color;

-Purchasing of wrong colour when no swatch was ordered ahead of time;

-Purchasing an incorrect size from either not measuring or measuring incorrectly.  (See our measuring photo guide on each suspender listing)

- Harsh or abnormal use of products that causes them to break;

- Natural wear and tear;

- Purchased products by mail that were not tested upon arrival and before the special day to ensure there are no malfunctions whether it be in size, color or hardware;

- Those that purchased rush orders that were not received by the desired date;

- In transit mishaps including: broken parcels, customs delays, mail delays, weather delays or any delays in shipping including not purchasing tracking.
